What we collect
This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no login, no comments, and no advertising. We do not set tracking cookies and we do not run a third-party analytics script that identifies you.
Our host records standard server logs for every request, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. We use those logs to understand which pages are crawled and which are read, and to keep the site available.
When you email us
If you email hello@blushie.io, we keep that message and your address so we can reply and, if you become a client, manage the engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list you did not ask for.
The newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter, we store your email address, the page you signed up on, and when you signed up and confirmed. We send a confirmation email first, and we don't send the digest until you confirm.
Each digest records that it was sent to you. It also records when the email is opened, through a small image, and which links you select, through a redirect on blushie.io. We use these counts to learn which stories readers want. Some mail apps load images automatically, so an open doesn't always mean you read the email.
Cloudflare stores the list and sends the email for us. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your address, and any open and click records that remain are no longer linked to you.
Audit work
When we audit a domain, we read publicly available pages on that domain as any visitor or search crawler would. We do not attempt to reach pages behind a login, and we do not collect personal data about a client's customers.
Your choices
Write to privacy@blushie.io to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We will respond within 30 days.
